- Please note that at this time, forms such as AISH, the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), and CPP Disability can only be completed by a primary care clinician once assigned to a client. This process can take up to six months.
Who can access the Health Clinic?
Individuals who do not already have a family doctor or primary care provider in the community and who meet the Statistics Canada Low-Income Cut-Off (LICO).

Do I need an appointment to visit the clinic?
- If you are new to CUPS, please visit us for a walk-in appointment. The clinic operates on a walk-in basis, however there are limited walk-in spots available each day.
- If you have already connected with the CUPS Health Clinic, and have accessed services with a CUPS provider, please call us at (403) 221-8797 (Press Option #1) to book an appointment.
- For concerns that do not directly require a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner, nurses are available on a walk-in or pre-booked basis Monday through Friday
How many walk-in spots are available each day?
There is no set number of daily walk-in spots available, it is dependent on the number of providers available on any given day.
If I don’t have a healthcare card, can I still access services?
Yes, staff will work with you to obtain a healthcare card and apply for prescription coverage as needed.
What if I need specialist care?
CUPS provides referrals to specialists and external providers as required.
