Health Clinic

CUPS’ Health Clinic provides low-barrier access to medical care for individuals living on low incomes, including those facing homelessness, trauma or discrimination in traditional healthcare settings.  

CUPS’ health clinic provides care for a wide range of health needs, from prevention to managing chronic conditions, all in a safe and supportive environment. CUPS offers a unique collaborative approach to health with longer appointment times and specialist services.

What the Health Clinic can help with:  

  • Extended appointment times for thorough medical care  
  • On-site doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and allied health professionals  
  • Lab services  
  • Immunizations 
  • Medication management and education 
  • Preventative health screenings  
  • Wound care 
  • Community Treatment Orders
  • Please note that at this time, forms such as AISH, the Disability Tax Credit (DTC), and CPP Disability can only be completed by a primary care clinician once assigned to a client. This process can take up to six months.

Who can access the Health Clinic? 

Individuals who do not already have a family doctor or primary care provider in the community and who meet the Statistics Canada Low-Income Cut-Off (LICO).
