Who can I contact with questions about my donation?
Email your questions to donations@cupscalgary.com
How and when will I receive my tax receipt?
Tax receipts are processed 2-3 times per month. Your receipt will be emailed to you or sent by mail if you have not provided your email address. Please email donations@cupscalgary.com to update your address(es) and preferences.
What payment options are accepted?
- Credit Card: Our website accepts all credit cards AND you have the option to help us cover processing fees!
- Cheque: Make cheques out to CUPS Calgary Society and mail to Attn: Finance, CUPS Calgary, 1001 10 Ave SW Calgary AB T2R 0B7
- E-Transfer: To send an e-Transfer to CUPS, please email donations@cupscalgary.com and we will help you through the transaction.

Unless instructed otherwise, gifts go towards CUPS’ area of greatest funding need. The flexibility to use your donation as needed allows us to adapt to changes in funding availability and need over the year(s).

How much does CUPS spend on ‘overhead’ costs?
At CUPS, we speak about overhead in terms of Shared Space and Shared Services. In total, Shared Space and Shared Services make up about 20-22% of our annual operating budget. According to Charity Intelligence Canada, in 2023, the average charity spent 27% of its donations and revenue on overhead. Charity Intelligence’s reasonable range for overhead spending is between 5 and 35%.
