Volunteers are a vital and vibrant part of CUPS’ programming and service delivery. Volunteers donate their talent and energy and do so with compassion and a commitment to helping the people we serve at CUPS. We are committed to ensuring that CUPS volunteers have a rewarding experience and that their skills and dedication are valued.
There are a number of ongoing volunteer opportunities at CUPS—with the One World Child Development Centre, the Medical Clinic, Community Outreach, the Family Centre and Administration. Throughout the year, CUPS also seeks the support of volunteers at various events and fundraising initiatives like the Annual Wreath Campaign.

CUPS is looking for volunteers to help out in the busy lobby of our downtown location. These volunteers would help staff and are responsible for greeting people as they arrive at CUPS, visiting with people while they wait, putting together packages of toiletries and basic needs items, maintaining and overseeing the shower sign-up list, tracking and posting available job postings, updating the message board, checking for and delivering mail to clients, and handling photocopying and faxing for guests.
