CUPS relies on the kindness and generosity of individuals, families and corporations to support its programs and participants. More than 50% of CUPS’ annual revenue arrives in the form of private donations.

CUPS (Calgary Urban Project Society) is a registered charitable organization with the Canadian Revenue Agency. Our registration number is: CRN 134-112-515-RR0001.
CUPS 2011 management, administration and fundraising costs were 14% of all expenses. Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) considers 35% to be an acceptable standard. Our 2012 costs are expected to be within the same range. As a registered charity, CUPS is required to annually file a T3010 report with CRA annually, detailing all of its fundraising, administration, executive compensation and other costs.
