The Child Development Worker will actively engage in a wide range of children’s educational programming needs for children in the thirteen month to 2 year age range. Responsibilities will include building rapport with all children and their families, supporting children identified as having special needs through documentation, strategizing and consistent, developmentally appropriate programming. Designing with colleagues long and short range learning plans to track child progress that incorporate a Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum. Designing with the CUPS team, parent participation in the classroom program to strengthen and enhance child learning experiences. The assignment will require collaborative planning within a multi-disciplinary team including other Child Development Educators, team teaching partner, parents, therapy team and consultants. Applicants must hold the Alberta Child Development Supervisor certificate Level 3 or equalency. We offer a competitive salary range and benefits package.
